Wandering past Cornerstone, tucked away in a corner, I decided to give this little oddity a shot. Mostly unremarkable it tries hard to be more than it is. Next time I’ll stick to the beaten path when sampling their releases.
Aroma / Appearance - A semitransparent raspberry core rests below a white head with blackberry and pie filling.
Flavor / Palate - Blackberry and raspberry filling tickle the throat. A light sweet texture sticks around briefly. Sadly it then disappears with little fanfare. If you want a benchmark for "average" give this release a try. Otherwise check out the more traditional beers.
Pours Amber. Immediate nose of soft raspberries. But when tasted , not overwhelming sweet. A subtle berry taste that finishes with a malty sweetness.

Reddish amber color with a thin off white head. This is definitely a fruit beer. The nose is all berry, mostly raspberry. Juicey beer with tons of sugar and raspberry flavors. It does not suffer from the artificial taste of some fruit beers, but the hop bitterness in the finish seems a bit intrusive. Interesting fruity beer. Sample on tap during Ohio Brew Week. Clear red / amber color, like how you’d expect a raspberry ale to look. Minimal white head, little lace. Dry texture, light smooth carbonation. Light, tart sweet taste, nice natural berry and strawberry flavor. Decent and drinkable. JStax (6502) - Devola/Marietta, Ohio, USA - JUN 25, 2012
Poured on draft. Pale gold with a white head of foam. Aroma is nice berry notes with not much else in the way of malt profile or a hop profile. Taste is much more faint of berry notes than the nose had indicated. Finish is light and fruity.

Tap at Cornerstone. Orange pour with a white head. Mild nose of wheat and berry. Lighter palate. Taste is mild beery, decent enough. FROTHINGSLOSH (7796) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 29, 2011
Sampled on draft at the brewpub this beer poured a dark caramel-brown color with a large white head that faded quickly and left no lacing. The aroma was faint mixed berries and not a whole lot else. The flavor was tart with faint vague berries followed by a somewhat sweet and malty middle and a long mixed berry finish. Medium body. Ok. Tmoney99 (14481) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - OCT 27, 2011
Draft sample at brewpub. Poured reddish brown color with average rocky white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Aroma was moderate Dark berry. Flavor was moderate berry with a good balanced berry finish of moderate duration. Medium body with pleasing smooth texture and soft carbonation. An average fruit beer.

Pours without much head from tap this weird apple juice color. Nice fruit on the nose. Kind of a thin mouthfeel. Some maltiness on the tongue but a watery finish. Sammy (12204) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JUL 9, 2011
A decent and fun fruit beer, enjoyed fresh at the brewpub. The fruit is right there and very refrehing. Its the real thing. Dark yellow with virtally no head. Fruit aromas. Carbonation is suitable. One I would have again.
