Dark beer with a thin tan head. Molasses and burnt grain nose. Lots of chocolate and puffed grains with dark roasted malts and a hint of smoke. Dark over ripe fruits and a long burnt toast finish. Solid stout.

A very fine Irish Dry Stout, looked like used motor oil with some lacing. straw and pepper notes.

Dogbrick (13554) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - JUN 22, 2008
Sample at the brewpub. This beer pours nearly black with a thin and creamy beige head that diminishes steadily. Patchwork lacing. The aroma is roasty with notes of coffee and malt. Medium, dry body with a roasted coffee character and flavors of chocolate malt and hops. The finish is thin and short with a mild coffee aftertaste. Just average overall.

Black color with a good head. It was still there an hour after the pour as I worked my way slowly through the sampler. Flavor is fairly thin, but some roastiness
