The best thing going for Corona is it's a pretty beer to look at and you don't have to open it or drink it to get the benefit of looking at it with the nice clear bottle. A real good beer if you like this style I guess, but I'll have a skunked Heineken over this Mexican pipi de caballo any day.

I tend to disagree with most on this one. I like it, lime or no lime. Better flavor than B/M/C products.

Not much to this one at all. Weak head, pale yellow colour, not much flavor. Requires lime to hide the skunk.

Not following the consensus here. I like this beer. it has a skunky aroma, likely because of the clear bottle. But for such a yellow beer, it has surprisingly bold flavor. Lach of head is surely disappointing, but is more than made up for in smoothness. To me, a summer classic. Sue me.

A very skunky beer that doesn't sit well in the palate. however, if spiced up with a lemon it becomes tolerable. But if you need a lemon in your beer........you need a new beer.

Corona is obviously the best marketed beer in the world, it's the quality of bud at twice the price. With lime and only with lime on a beach in mexico it's better than drinking the water.

UPDATED: SEP 21, 2005 This is fizzy, watery, and not good. It has very little head, straw yellow color, and no complexity. I get it with the lime on a warm day, and it’s the lime that makes this different and it distinguishable from other beers (I won’t say "good", however). But this isn’t ratelime.com is it?

hard to believe i know so many people that serve this stuff. you know it's bad if it takes a lime to choke it down. stay away from this beer!
