How the 29th best beer in Mexico became so popular is an enduring mystery. Great when you're on the beach, but which beer isn't. Little taste, decent carbonation, completely forgettable.

Great on a hot day in Phoenix while sitting in the shade trying to stay cool. Also great when playing craps in Las Vegas. Fine with or with out the lime, just keep and drink them ice cold.

Decent yellow color, with some hop/citrus aroma. The only beer I add lime to when I drink it (which really isn't a good thing). This one is OK on a 95 degree summer day.

A fairly crappy and tasteless beer. But, I still find myself enjoying one of these from time to time with a lime. There is no way I would ever get one of these if there wasnt a lime.

These Mexican lagers have their own flavor that I can't really place. They seem bland by themselves, but are quite good with mexican food. Corona is one of the best that I've had. Pushing a lime into the bottle helps.

Pretty inoffensive stuff, just watery and thin; no real head; passing hint of flavor (yeast? corn?). Everything changes when you stick a lime in it, but why bother? A six-pack of beer that's not only drinkable but also outright *good*, such as Sam Adams Boston Lager, costs the same or less. And you don't have to spend an additional $0.25 on a citrus fruit that shouldn't be necessary in the first place.

Golden color, little head. Very crisp, almost "airy" feel. Extremely watery. Flavor is very slightly "skunky" and is dominated by light, yeasty notes. Fantastic with a lime; refreshing if not phenomenal.

This beer has successfully marketed itself as the quintessential summer-time beer and what it lacks in taste, it tries to make up for in refreshment. It almost seems like a cross between a regular and light beer. fine now and again, but hardly a beer anyone could sit down and enjoy time after time.

Why the heck is this beer so popular? A good beer does not require a full lime! Ok, so I have to rate it. It barely has an aroma, yet looks like it should. It gives me the bitter beer face. Preserve your dignity and don't drink this when visiting Mexico.

Doesn't taste like much of anything fizzy and boring. I guess thats why its served with lime?
