Too pale golden color, nice white head that diminished rather quickly. Lacing in very small, well scattered "spots". Light hops, sweet, american standard skunk odor, all odors rather minimal. Sweet, some kind of semi-fruit hops(!!!?), almost no skunk flavor and an aftertaste reminiscent of...something I can't quite place a finger on, yet is familiar. Apple. Like apple skin from a Granny Smith and has the bitter of a crab apple, but so light it's almost not there. Foamy mouthfeel, very light body, less watery than most light beers and dry mouthfeel. Sadly, a very good American Standard with the light, minimal flavor, foamy, watery body. I don't hate drinking it.

This is a watered-down Mexican beer. That's really all there is to it. Maybe it would be better with a lime, but beer should be appreciated like a fine tea. If you have to add sugar or lemon, then why are you drinking it in the first place? If you want a good beer or even just a good Mexican beer, there are plenty of good choices. Mexican? Pacifico Clara. Just don't force yourself into thinking this is the best it gets...

UPDATED: MAY 16, 2005 And so the great debate continues, to add a lime or not. One thing is for sure, you don’t want to pour this stuff into a glass.

When my friends are drinkin the fine stuff it's always Corona. [Sob] I just drown my sorrows in my $9 six pack. Which happens to be AS MUCH AS A CORONA SIX PACK!! Ahhhh!

Bottle (Uxmal, Mexico 19.2.04)
Yellow. Small vanishing white head. Sweet fruity aroma. Watery and tasteless.

Bottle sample- A skunky smelling beer that tastes like canadian, export, etc. It's a piss yellow. That is kinda scary to me. Tastes ok with lime, but nothing to go crazy over. A little better than your average "big boy" beer.

A somewhat decent beer, but only with the addition of lime. The beer alone was somewhat watery and unpleasant.

piss yellow color...weak aroma with a skunky smell, carbonated and slightly malty with that familiar skunky taste and quite waterd down...good for a cheap summer lawn mowing beer

This is budweiser in a mexican bottle, watered down. I'm going to Mexico for Spring Break and I'm not looking forward to getting freshly skunked Coronas.

This beer was smooth, but had almost no flavor. I know why they say to serve it with a lime!
