Golden Yellow, gotta have the lime, at least for the first one, but after that let it slide to much citric acid. Funny, but i liked this beer a lot more when i was in high school.

Clear glass in the burning sun. No real flavour of its own, a little sour and very thin. No hops to speak of. Better get that lime in there quick!

UPDATED: SEP 24, 2003 Once upon a time, this was my favorite beer. Boy, how times have changed and tastes have gotten more sophisticated! This simply does not have the taste, color or smell of a Class-A beer. Yes, it tastes better with a lime, but, c'mon, this is beer, folks, not cocktails. Mexican beer sucks and this is the worst one. Cave Creek Chili Beer minus the chili pepper.

I'm usually long-winded in my ratings, but everyone has tried this Mexican/beach beer at some point. Served ice cold in a frosted glass with a lemon wedge, this brew is tolerable. With Mexican food, it's serviceable. On its own? Please! I've run over skunks that smell and probably taste better than this brew. Adjuncts and skunks? Not for me, thanks.

Can't understand the cult like following for this brew. I'm sure the obligatory lime wedge is what gives this beer it's character. Not entirely offensive though. Ice cold, it's ok on a hot summer day, with the lime wedge of course...Hysteria

This beer sucks on so many levels. It has a very unique taste of old, dirty... well something old & dirty. The color & packaging trick u into thinking it ia beer, it is not. Hmm... which is worse corona or mexican tap water?

If you put lime in dog food, it means you must like the taste of the lime cause you sure as hell don't care for the dog food. Aroma and appearance are ok while the taste leaves much to be desired. Too many unusual, indescribable flavors. A last resort beer.

clattyarse (13) - Penrith, AUSTRALIA - MAY 18, 2003
Not the worst beer I've tasted but far from the best. Definitely needs a lime or lemon to disguise that thin pissy taste though.

(bottle) It was free, it was beer-like and I drank it. Not much more to say about it.
