What's the point? Wasn't extra light enough? Try new Corona Light, for when water's just too damn heavy.. raymow (1732) - Bensalem, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 21, 2003
I didn't think there was anything wrong with it. Not the best, but definitely not the worst. You can't expect too much from it. Just a good summer beer when you're hot and thirsty. iam (369) - Mississauga, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 9, 2003
Not that bad. Pours a beautiful water colour with no head. Tastes slightly like beer. SubstanceT (1092) - Saint Louis, Missouri, USA - JUN 8, 2003
For a light beer--- it's pretty good. The color is too yellow, but come on... tastes great!

How on earth can you make a "light" version of one the the planet Earth's most watery beers? I suppose that it does make the regular Corona seem to be a little tastier in comparison.

Bottle. I was not impressed with this beer at all. It had an aftertaste to it. It was watery and fizzy. Not an enjoyable drink. beastdog75 (364) - Brick, New Jersey, USA - MAY 8, 2003
This is quite bad. Reeks of adjuncts, and has a musty/swampy smell and flavor. Lime makes it a little better, but not by much. Even the regular version is more tolerable. adamcbowman (57) - Bowling Green, Ohio, USA - MAY 1, 2003
Everyone just about talks up this beer. In any bar or club you'll see someone with a Corona with a lime. Average brew, not worth all the myth and talk, but still a decent brew. Pretty good. burgerlicious (308) - Indianapolis, Indiana, USA - APR 29, 2003
The regular Corona is much better. This beer has a very skunky odor to it. AustinMilbarge (681) - Denver, Colorado, USA - APR 9, 2003
I always thought the Extra was light enough. Leave it to the American market to create a need for light light beer for people that are already overweight. At any rate, not worth the money.
