Fresh, crisp and floral. Pours a light red color with very little head. Smells fresh and piney - great hops. Taste is a combo of piney hops and hibiscus tea and it is delicious!!!! Finishes with an essence of guava and crisp hops. This is a surprisingly fantastic brew!

Drank from 22oz bottle poured into glass. Aroma- citrus hoppy notes. Wonderful aroma. Appearance- redish ruby color with light head. Appealing and different color. Taste- fantastic. Hoppy with floral notes. Can tell it would be a good standalone ipa but has a twist. Palate-sweet and sour guava tasting afteraste. Overall- very please. Enjoyed this special brew. mverity (294) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - MAR 5, 2015
Pours a rosy, orangy color with off white bubbly head that held well and faded into a thick collar, heavy wisps, great legs, and good lacing. Aroma is sweet/floral hibiscus, faint bready malt sweetness, floral and slightly earthy hops. Taste began heavy on the hibiscus, with that dual hop flavor behind that. I really enjoy this, so I guess I’m a big fan of hibiscus. Good body, low-med carb, and low hop bitterness. Not particularly great for an IPA, but immensely enjoyable. A reddish pinkish IPA with a thin white head. In aroma, caramel malt with fragrant tropical fruits, hops, flowers, beautiful. In mouth, a beautiful crisp malt with light fruit acidity, floral hops, delicious and acidic. At the REAL gastropub, Zwanze day, Dec. 1 2012. madmitch76 (24980) - , Essex, ENGLAND - NOV 30, 2013

Hazy amber beer, good white head. Palate is light, dry and minerally crisp. Light airy malt. There is a nice tangy fruit sherbet zing here, it really tantalises the tongue! Hibiscus fruits balance nicely with mildly skunky hops. Little pine. Finishes soft and semi dry with more sherbet zing. Love the sherbet! Light and very refreshing.
This is a collaborative effort between CBC and Maui Brewing. One diminutive, but I’m told "strong" gal from Maui Brewing came out to Coronado to create this interesting concoction. It’s the most beautiful ale I’ve ever seen. Such a vibrant rose color. My only regret is that the white head faded so quickly. Emanating from the glass is a lovely grapefruit nose that nearly rivals it’s appearance. The mouthfeel is nearly perfect. Very wet, slick with just the right amount of carbonation burn. Ok, the flavor is unique. Particularly, when considered in the context of the grapefruit bouquet. It is tart and floral. The flavor is consistent throughout. Some lagerish notes at the very finish. bhensonb (15338) - Woodland, California, USA - NOV 12, 2013
Bomber from Capitol Beer in Sacramento, CA. Pours translucent copper with a foamy white head. Aroma is very citrus/floral. Hint of caramel. Med body or better. Flavor starts somewhat earthy, moves on to spicy, then maybe some citrus. I can imagine Hibiscus - cause there is a perfumey/floral note. It’s dry, bitter and a real mouth grabber. All this at only 4.9%? Mirabile dictu! superspak (5675) - Michigan, USA - DEC 15, 2014
22 ounce bottle into pint glass, bottled on 9/4/2014. Pours slightly hazy reddish copper color with a 2 finger dense off white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Light spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass, with some moderate streaming carbonation. Aromas of big grapefruit, lemon zest, orange peel, pineapple, berries, pine, herbal, grass, flowers, light caramel, toasted bread, and floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with good balance and complexity of citrus/pine hops, hibiscus spicing, and moderate malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big grapefruit, lemon zest, orange peel, pineapple, berries, pine, herbal, grass, flowers, light caramel, toasted bread, and floral/grassy earthiness. Good amount of pine/grassy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of grapfruit, lemon/orange zest, pineapple, berries, pine, light caramel, toasted bread, and floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Damn nice complexity, balance, and robustness of citrus/pine hops, hibiscus spicing, and moderate bready malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, crisp, and fairly sticky mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with zero warming present after the finish as expected of 4.9%. Overall this is a very nice hibiscus spiced IPA. All around good complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/pine hops, hibiscus spicing, and moderate bready malt flavors; and very smooth and crisp to drink. A very enjoyable offering. Bomber from Sonoma Cellars. Pours a very clear orangey pink - almost pink grapefruity - with a pink/white head. Nose is hugely floral, with tangy spices and citrus. Taste is of sweet flowers, tangy pine, grapefruit, some caramel. Herbal tangy and very dry. Almost a belgian yeast presence. Medium bodied with no alcohol noticed. Finishes sweet and tangy with some bitterness. Dry. Very interesting solid effort from a brewery that continues to hit their notes. 14.3 BOLTZ7555 (3027) - Phoenix, Arizona, USA - NOV 29, 2012
Light crimson, honey, and golden tangerine body with a fluffy ivory cap. Lots of bitterness...orange rind, lemon zest, and grapefruit pith. Floral and herbaceous. Biscuit and candied tropical fruit. Love the low ABV...sessionable for sure!
