First Coronado beer - soley use to crazy price tags. farees thinks I nee to drink this and since he has such a lovely warming smile and eyes that sparkle like diamonds I bought it. Dumped out a clear lighter yellow brew with a decent white cap In My shitty Leffe glass that I hate. The smell is wonderful and drool enducing. Sweet soothing tropical notes, warm orange, green melon, caramel. Yay. Really dig the flavour here - this is highly drinkable. Perfect blend of bitterness, sweetness, tropical things, heat, chew. Zippy and some thickness, spicy fruity mix, not sure what I said but it doesn’t matter. This was very good. Farees - I will dream of you tonight. pintbypint (3672) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - OCT 8, 2013
650ml brown bottle. Deep golden colour with light haze and a sturdy white cap. Thin lacing. Piney nose, some citrus and tropical fruit hops. Taste has some malt sweetness, tropical fruit, orange zest and pine. Long finish with some alcohol, pine, citrus zest, grass and grapefruit left behind. Nice fresh tasting double IPA that doesn’t feel heavy or overly boozy. Hops are really nice. As with most of these"Crown Series" brews, a bit of a hefty price tag, but highly enjoyable. 22 ounce bottle purchased at The Davis Beer Shoppe. The aroma on this is very green with hops. Some sweet, super sugary mandarin character is also present. Slight herbal character and a little ethanol as well. Mostly transprent golden-orange body with a medium, quickly dissipating whitish head present. Starts with a bit of a solventy flavor. Like industrial cleanser or something. Brash hop bitterness and astringency follow. Grapefruit prevails. Becomes very sweet and syrupy late. Finishes with burning ethanol and lingering hop bitterness. Not really my idea of an enjoyable beer. smith4498 (3649) - Winter Springs, Florida, USA - OCT 7, 2013
Pours slightly hazy dark golden color with off white head. Big pine aroma with some citrus and biscuit malts. Bitter pine flavor with moderate sweetness and some citrus. Medium body with average carbonation and a slightly syrupy mouthfeel. nsquishee (641) - Richfield, Minnesota, USA - SEP 30, 2013
Bursting with hop aroma. Clear golden color. Thick, syrupy palate. Tons of hop bitterness combined with heavy sweetness. Flavors of hops, citrus, and light malts.

650ml bottle pours a golden orange color with a 2 finger white head that leaves some decent lacing on the glass. Aroma is big on tropical fruits with some pine and caramel. Taste is a tropical fruit and caramel malty sweetness with a pine hop bitterness. Very well balanced flavors and quite tasty, but the aroma is the best aspect of this brew. Highly recommended. bhensonb (15345) - Woodland, California, USA - SEP 26, 2013
Bomber from Bine & Vine. Pours golden amber with a creamy off-white head. Tropical fruits are wafting past me just from the pour. Deep inhale is more of the same plus a very light touch of cat pee. Full bodied. Creamy/foamy carb. Flavor is so complicated. Tropical fruit/floral/pine/citrus. Really good hop burn plus a little heat down low in the gullet. Finishes hoppy as all heck, with some nice caramel still detectable. Super delicious. TimsRatings (421) - - SEP 26, 2013
Poured a deep amber with light head. Strong aroma of citrus hops. Almost bitter citrus flavor, but done very well. Hoppy to the point of the tongue almost wanting to curl - but again, done very well. rael (10) - Cary, North Carolina, USA - SEP 25, 2013
Aroma is everything with this IPA. Over the top citrus aroma and flavor. Bitterness is right on for an IIPA. As good as the best IIPAs. Ferris (15901) - Burnaby, British Columbia, CANADA - SEP 25, 2013
Bottle - Huge aroma of grapefruit/pine and tropical fruit, well balanced against some nice sweet malts. Clear gold with a thin white head. Piney fresh hops, with a bit of an oily mouth feel. Really nice.
