Bottle:   Orangish straw, slight hazy, thin frothy white head, little lacing.   A bit of alcohol up front, rough candied citrus peel, dankness, some tea leaves, and citrus peel on the nose.   Peel, pith, and tea leaves on the tongue.   A bit sweet, but also a little dank as the nose suggested.   Not too floral, citrusy with some tea leaves in there.   Moderate body and mouthfeel.   Dank tea leaves on the finish.   Decent example, wished it were a bit more bright, but its clean at least. Sample at Örebro Öl & Whisky 2015. Malty smell with sugar and caramel. Sweet malty taste, toasted with sugar. Sweet malty beer. Was this supposed to be a DIPA? Didn’t feel like it. Nice beer though. alexsdad06 (11758) - West Chester, Ohio, USA - NOV 28, 2015
22 oz. bottle. Pours a slightly hazy amber golden color with a small off white head. The aroma and flavor have quite a bit of sweet, caramel malts, citrus, bigger herbal hops, some grass and earth with mild to moderate bitterness, hints of the abv come through, decent, if it weren’t listed as an imperial ipa the sweetness would be too much, I would just like to have had more bitterness too.
