COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
After two decades of coastal vibes, we’ve grown our Coronado brewpub into an award-winning brewery. And while we have grown, our passion for brewing great beer remains. So let’s toast to our past with this massively floral Imperial IPA created specially for our 20th. Here’s to another year of staying coastal. Brewed with Citra, Mosaic, Hallertau Blanc and a careful selection of experimental hops.

Idiosynkrasie (7967) - Bielefeld, GERMANY - JUN 14, 2017
355ml bottle. Clear, orangey golden colour with small, frothy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Minimally papery, piney hoppy aroma, hints of orange, caramel malty bais with a touch of almond. Taste is caramel malty with an almond touch, bitter hoppy with a cardboard touch, diluted unspecific fruitiness. Brute force, not much subtlety of flavours whatsoever.

Aroma is fruit/light citrus, malts and spicy/alcohol. The flavor is grapefruit, caramel malts, very slightly nutty and a mix of spicy, bitter and big alcohol/warming in the finish.

Rei00 (131) - CHILE - MAR 29, 2017
---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Beaver (1846) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - MAR 15, 2017
22 oz bottle. Pours clear copper gold with a big creamy off white head that retains well and laces the glass.

The aroma is sweet bready honey malt with light floral piney hops.

The flavor is very sweet honey bready malt with some fruit and big slightly harsh spicy floral hop finish. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with smooth carbonation.

Overall, it’s a bit too sweet with reserved hop flavors.

12 oz bottle. Deep copper color, clear, with lace. Syrupy malt nose, caramel, peaches, gooey. Sweet and syrupy, apricots and oranges. Very mediocre.

maekchu (4054) - Hirakata, JAPAN - JAN 4, 2017
Bottle. Nose of caramel, strong dose of stone fruitiness, and alcohol fumes. Hazy medium copper/amber color. Thin caramel, overripe stone fruit, rich and rough back-end bittering. Medium-heavy body. Fairly full-featured flavors, but a bit thin bodied. Nice enough, but not a great one for an anniversary.

Slightly Cousy deep golden under a thin rocky white cap. Surprisingly sweet caramelly nose with a big piney and citrus zesty aromas. Big sticky sweet flavor with pale and caramalt sugars with big pine resin and big orange zest and orange rind bitterness. Bright and vibrant and sweet but bitter and just hella delicious.
