On tap a Stone’s Oakquinox. Listed as "Coronado Barrel Aged Imperial Stout". Pours with a huge deep brown, foamy head that lasts over a deep black body. Aromas are smokey, raisins, chocolate, bourbon and a bit chalky. Flavors are chocolate, cocoa, fudge, malted milkshake, and vanilla. Thick, creamy, velvety, mouthcoating with light bubbles. One of the better beers at Oakquinox; a pleasant surprise. BeerFanDan17 (1120) - Brunswick, Maine, USA - MAR 6, 2011

Almost like a port by feel, but not really that sweet. The batch I drank from in the Stone Tasting room had no head, but came out flat like oil. Coated the mouth with a rich thick texture. Really good for desert! wetherel (1883) - Cupertino, California, USA - MAY 6, 2010

Tap @ Stone Oakquinox. Pours black, fairly viscous with a small one finger thick beige head, nice sheets of lacing. Nice nose of bourbon, vanilla, bittersweet chocolate and faint coffee. Fairly roasty in the finish with a light boozy kick, pretty tasty brew from the guys @ Coronado.
