Clear dark brown color with a average to large, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, light beige head. Aroma is heavy malty, roasted, burnt, coffee, light chocolate. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and heavy bitter with a long to average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Winston Festival. Deep ambery black colour with a small white head. Aroma is coffee, some roasted malts, mild liquorice, berries and a bit of earthy notes. Flavour is very similar in a nice balance. Quite nicely bodied beer too.

Draught at MacKinely’s Inn, Stockholm. Perfectly black with rich beige head. Intense coffee aroma. Mid sweet with medium body and clean, spritzy mouthfeel. Coffee and some citric tartness. Borefts VII. Day 2. Keg. Opaque black - brown beer, small pale tan head. Palate is airy and semi dry and with good nibbly crispness. Fluffy dark malts, light lactose - cream. Modest coffee. Minerally crisp finish. Clean coffee stout, fine.
