Pours a deep brown color with aroma of roasted malt and cherries. Taste is simple with flavor. A chocolate and coffee roast in the initial flavor which quickly disappears. A slight cherry aftertaste that is very smooth. A good porter that was surprisingly light and drinkable. PhillyCraft (7584) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 5, 2013
Sample at bainbridge, courtesy of Barry. Black body with light bubbly head, tan in color. Aromas were chocolate, malt, acidic fruit..mostly cherry. Flavor is much of the same. Mouthfeel is creamy with weak carbonation. marcus (10473) - Sacramento, California, USA - APR 8, 2013
On tap at Beer Revolution. Pours black with a short tan head and a smoky dark malt aroma. There is a full-bodied treacle flavor with a hint of cherry and a dry finish. Complex and tasty. badlizard (5533) - Berkeley, California, USA - APR 6, 2013

Tap at Hamiltons. Black with a fizzy white head. Strong roasted grain and coffee aroma. Tastes of roasted grain light chocolate and light cherry.
Dark brown, almost black, in color with a khaki head. Nice roasted malt aroma with only a mild cherry note at first. Some coffee and dark chocolate notes with a hint of chalk. Decent cherry flavor and a light acidity. Lots of roasted malt and coffee. Some dark chocolate, a light bitterness, a mild chalkiness on the finish. The fruit comes out more as it warms up.

didnt really get that much cherry from this one, which might have been a good thing. kinda grassy, a bit of cocoa and coffee, some dark grains. not super exciting, but lighter than i thought it would be too. after4ever (8025) - Mukilteo, Washington, USA - FEB 28, 2013
Draft at ebp as "Bada Bing." pours jet black with a dense and creamy tan head. Roasty dark nose, just a little tartness. Creamy medium body with soft carb. Mostly roasty, not getting a lot of cherry other than a dash of tartness as counterpoint on the finish and the nose. Nice stuff though. 5000 (6862) - Hardened Liver, Washington, USA - JAN 25, 2013
Draught @ Brouwer’s Café: Deep brown, moderate to large beige head, fairly nice lacing. Roasty nose, slightly sweet in a froofy coffee sense. Not getting much cherry on the nose, if at all. Seems likes a straight up Porter! On the tongue its a sweet roastiness up front, a bit of a milk stout like presense, with the cherry finally coming in at the very end. Very smooth, silky, and clean. Bitterness is moderate, but kept in check wtih the sweetness. Lingering roastiness and dark cherry aspects on the finish. Solid Porter, with a nice cherry flair. User134089 (1644) - - JAN 21, 2013

Poured a black color with one finger of tan head when I got it. Very nice foamy lacing on the sides on the way down. Average retention.
Smelled chocolate, caramel, toffee and slight bitter coffee beans.
Tasted chocolate, toffee, caramel, toast, slight coffee beans, nutty and a hint of black cherry. Nice and smooth.
Full body. Creamy-to-slick texture. Average carbonation. Long, bitter finish.
A nice porter and good way to end my day. Smooth and tasty, although having a name with cherry in it should have more cherry.
