The aroma had citrus, grapefruits, and a malty sweetness. The beer poured a clear orange/yellow color w/ no head or lace. The flavor had caramel, malts, citrus, and a hint of grapefruits. The mouthfeel was light and crisp. User134089 (1644) - - JAN 21, 2013

Poured a copper orange color with one finger of off-white head when I got it. Nice even layer of foamy lacing all the way down. Nice retention.
Smelled more like an IPA than a pale ale. Got the citrus hops - orange and tangerine. Sweet lemon grass as well.
Tasted wet Cascade hops, citrus hops - orange, tangerine and lemon, caramel malts and a buttery finish.
Medium-to-light body. Creamy texture. Average-to-lively (above average carbonation). Abrupt watery finish.
A decent start to my day. A good, but not great pale ale.
(tap at brewpub) amber with white head. Mild hops aroma. Flavor was floral hops with caramel malt. Ober (2811) - Bommelerwaard, NETHERLANDS - AUG 15, 2012
A clear orange/amber colored beer, with a off white head. The aroma of fruits like citrus/orange, with hop bitter. The taste of fruity sweet, orange/mango, ith soft hop notes. The aftertaste is sweet with some hop bitters. Capa (3490) - Kitsap, Washington, USA - AUG 6, 2012
Orange with a white head. Toasted malt and light citrus aroma. Flavor was mostly bready malts with a light floral and citrus note. Medium sweetness. Not bad but not one I’ll care to revisit.

On tap at the Brewpub. Gold in color with a flowery aroma. Sweet flavor. Smoother than the Island Pale Ale but still good and hoppy.. Great balance and a drinkable session beer. laiti (8522) - Tampere, FINLAND - SEP 7, 2011

Aroma is light and a bit weird for PA. It has bready malt and just slight hops. Flavour has honey and bready malt. Some resin-like hops too. A bit weird PA, not good.
Draft at Isaac Newtons. Amber pour with some light head. Caramel and some light earthy and dry hop tones, amongst a bit of oxidation, and cardboard like tones. AmEricanbrew (7065) - Same Trailer, Different Park, Louisiana, USA - APR 27, 2011
Clear amber color/ ivory head. Mild floral hop, pale malt aromas. Medium bodied with avg. co2. Mild, lightly sweet caramel malt flavors with mild floral hoppage--mild-- JFGrind (2072) - Glenside, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 20, 2011
Over tha past few weeks I’ve drawn to 4BPA as a shift drink. Medium bitterness, attractive amber appearance and a pleasant flavor. Just right in every way including the alcohol percentage.
