3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
On cask. Pours with a clear copper body with a creamy white head that lasts. Aromas are caramel and oaky, light citrus and light pepper, some lemon coaster. Flavors are estery, bitter, spicy, lemon custard, caramel, oak, very bitter finish. Smooth, light carbonation. Light heat from peppers, light spice in the finish.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
A: The beer pours a fairly clear golden color with that typically soapy white head.
S: There is a decent hit of chile pepper and heat on the nose with some nice citrus hop notes to it. Mildly sweet with a bit of malt and bread aroma. Light aromas of grass and pine hops in the background.
T: A bit earthy note which I assume is from the peppers. Only a mild heat to the beer with moderate bitterness from some piney hops. Light citrus and grass notes give the beer what hop flavor it has.
M: Medium in body with a low carbonation, which was to be expected.
O: For a chile beer, this is surprisingly okay. Not great by any stretch, but drinkable.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
Had this one on cask. I am kind of a cask junkie and I have found many ipaís that are outstanding on cask but a few that totally suck. This one is right in between. The color is a nice amber with a bright bubbly white head. much less than the regular of course but thatís to be expected. A couple chili flakes floating around get me real excited because i love a spicy beer! The smell has some decent mild hop aromas a little pine on it with some chili in the background. I am super excited to be blown away by spice and (buzzer noise) fail. Barely any spice detected. It is bitter and not very good...at first. about half way down the pint i start to feel more heat and my throat has a slight tingle and I also notice a little smokiness and more pine. The profile did improve over the course of the beer but still fell far short of the expectations I had. A drinkable beer and Iím sure fans of the brewery want to lynch me but hey itís just not that good.

Clear golden with a fizzy white head. Aroma of chile. Tastes of grapefruit and chile with some earthy heat to the finish.
