From a 22 oz bottle shared at home. Pours a clear copper with an off white head. Fruity hop nose. Flavors of tropical fruits with some malty notes. Medium bodied, high carbonation, bitter finish. MartinT (10155) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - JAN 13, 2014
My Bottom Line:reberiii (497) - Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 11, 2014
Tropical fruit and hop resins dive off of oily, honeyed cereals in this rich Double IPA.
Further Personal Perceptions:
-A veil of foam covers the cloudy beige-yellow.
-This is a tad too sweet for my tastes in the style.
-There is a lot of flavour in here, but brightness is lacking (if you want to consider it among the best of the best).
-A sandy cat-litter touch is felt here and there.
-The resinous bitterness is very pleasant.
Super solid. Pleasant pine citrus nose after being poured a murky orange. Many fingers of foam (so much so that I had to pause a minute so that I could finish filling my nonic pint), with persistent and expansive lacing. Slight bit of juice flavor, caramel and ice cream middle, finishes with hop bitter. Not overly bitter. Again, solid, but maybe a bit tame (flavor-wise) for an imperial. mstrcrwly (1000) - New York, USA - JAN 10, 2014
Part of mixed 6 pk I picked up tonight..Nice aroma of hops, citrus, pine..good pour..golden orange with 2-3 finger white head..hoppy, bitter..not so much a DIPA..but pretty good. esox (1226) - Oulu, FINLAND - JAN 10, 2014
Bottled. Slightly hazy, pale amber color. Thin creamy head. Floral and citrusy hop nose rich in caramel malts. Some canned peach notes. Malty flavor, but not too sweet. Slightly mineral finish. Bitterness seems a bit low, probably due to age. Round, almost full bodied, slightly flat texture.

Pours dark amber with a finger of tan foam that stays long. Nose is bright, floral happiness with a twist of grapefruit. Taste is bitter, but not outrageously so, on a bold malty backbone. Full body, vigorous carbonation. Quite good IPA.

Mörkgul färg med en vit tunn skumkrona. Doften är liten men god. Doftar av framförallt ananas. Smaken är söt och även här känner jag ananasen. Fyllig och fin men med för liten beska i min smak. Efterbeskan är bra. BK7 (805) - Turner, Oregon, USA - DEC 29, 2013
Bomber. Citrus, pine, caramel and a bit of pineapple. Light stickiness. Smooth drinking and well balanced. Tasty brew but a bit mild for an IIPA. zimbo (983) - SCOTLAND - DEC 29, 2013
Typical nose for the style but with a tad more sugar and more orange golden colour. Half inch head which is glossy leading to some decent lacing. Fairly gassy start but the body is mainly sappy as well. Not bad buts lacks some definition and individuality. beertholomeus (1814) - California, USA - DEC 28, 2013
Pours a copper color with a khaki head. Dank hop, caramel, citrus, biscuit, malt and some alcohol aroma. Rich hop, caramel, citrus, pine, biscuit, malt, and alcohol flavors. Medium body and carbonation with a bitter taste. Hoppy finish.
