COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
It doesnt take a genius to kno w quality West Coast IPAs require a stupid amount of hops. A generous blend of Nugget hops and the four CsCascade, Centennial, Chinook and Columbusbrings forth a myriad of tropical fruit flavors and a brawny, persistent bitterness that makes for a highly intelligent brew.

Draft at the brewpub in Coronado. Pours a crystal clear, yellow amber color with a white head. Aroma is hoppy, tropical fruit, mango. Medium on the palate with soft, creamy carbonation. Flavor is sweet, malty, bready, light caramel, hoppy, grapefruit, pineapple, with a bittersweet, hoppy finish. Very drinkable.

Bottle served in a tulip. Pours deep copper with a slight haze. Large pillowy head with excellent retention and lace. Aromatic toffee / cereal malt and floral hopped nose. Light sweet, heavy cereal malt attack, followed closely by a dry, sustained bitterness. Medium-plus body, soft carbonation, thick texture. Solid IPA.

UPDATED: APR 20, 2014 22 oz Bomber. The beer pours to a copper color with a medium/large white head. The aroma had citrus, resin & malt scents to it. The taste was medium body with a nice slightly bitter finish. Overall a very good DIPA.

Great imperial, standard for the style. Great balance of all the hoppy floral flavor without the rough finish. Very nice

Bottled, from Systembolaget. Hazy deep golden, mid sized head. Rich grapefruity nose with a buttery backdrop and a whisper of alcohol. Mid sweet with medium-full body and rounded mouthfeel. Quite intense minty grapefruit, slight notes of syrup and caramel. Long bitter finish. Solid, but one-dimensional.

Bottle from box aroma, poured into a plastic cup. Looks like frothy urine. Smells like pee. Tastes like bitter malt water. Rusty trombones and Alabama hot pockets. Authentic.

Bottle--hazy amber color with a good size, white head. Large aroma of hops, straw and pine. Solid hops and pine lead the taste, toss in some citrus at the end and you have the taste down pat. Sticky and syrupy finish. The Mansion.

Bottle @ home, ordered from Craftshack. Pours a bit hazy dark orange appearance with a cream colored head. Caramel, toasted malty, pretty spicy, piney, herbal, bitter hoppy aroma. No date on the bottle, but this doesnt taste incredibly fresh. A lot of caramel, goopy malt in the flavor along with light grapefruit, pine, and herbal bitterness. A little hot. I imagine that this would be a little better fresh, but honestly, I dont really dig these goopy IIPAs with lots of caramel.
