Pours an amber/orange with with a dense smallish off-white head. Huge hops(like all of them) coming through at first, but it has a malty/yeasty aroma that doesn’t quite fit, and that carries through in the flavor and it doesn’t quite work for my palate. Still a very good beer, just not my favorite. Maybe I got a bad batch cuz I’ve had "Idiot" before and thought it was outstanding. smaynard6000 (1167) - Apopka, Florida, USA - JAN 23, 2013
12oz bottle. Pours hazy yellow with small white head. Citrus and pine aroma. Nice bitter flavor profile with hoppy notes throughout. Strong bitter finish. Solid and good. WarChef1 (24) - North Ridgeville, Ohio, USA - JAN 23, 2013
Not a bad beer. Kinda middle of the road. Pours golden amber and a little hazy with good head retention. Lacing all the way to the bottom of the glass. Good hop character, citrus, piney and a touch of tropical fruit. Mild malt balance. Good carbonation and not overly bitter considering. Bright mouth feel. Solid Double IPA - slightly hazy amber pour with nice white head. White lacing. Nice citrus nose and a nice hop presence (citrus, a touch of pine, a little floral). Strong bitterness on the finish. biggsbowler (625) - Port St. Lucie, Florida, USA - JAN 18, 2013
Draft at House of Brews - pours hazy orange with white head, not a lot of retention. Pine and citrus notes in the aroma. Grapefruit, pine, and resin with some orange. Finishes dry, which I love in a ipa. Overall I really enjoy this beer.

Nice snifter pour from bottle. Nose is nice healthy hop bitterness with juicy orange. Flavor comes through nice with heavy juicy hops and almost chewy. Very fresh. Great ipa. Medium body with medium lacing. Worth it! DrSilverworm (9671) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - JAN 12, 2013
On tap. Mostly clear golden / orange color. Good thin white head. Decent lace. Smooth, lighter carbonation, kind of a creamy texture, dry finish. Nice mouthfeel, easy to drink. Orange citrus, grassy hop flavor, some caramel malts. Nice bitterness, but a good sweet taste, too. Drinkable, balanced DIPA. 7 / 4 / 7 / 4 / 15 b3shine (8873) - Indiana, USA - JAN 11, 2013
Bomber to snifter. Looks good; a mostly transparent orange with off-white lacing. Smells of bitter hops with a light, semi-sweet backbone. Tastes like it smells with a good mouthfeel. Damn tasty! reggiedunlop (3724) - The dub c, Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 6, 2013
Pours clear gold with a medium white head. Aroma has some grapefruit and stonefruits...bit of pine...lots going on but all very subdued. Flavor has some light caramely notes with stonefruits and citrus...hints of tea. Mouthfeel is fairly light and a bit watery with a bitter stonefruit/earthy dry finish. On tap at Pinocchio’s. Pour looks like brought apple juice. Rich, hoppy aroma. Complex hop profile...citrus, grain and resin. Melon fruitiness, good level of sweetness too balance out a fairly aggressive hop profile. Tasty.
