A nice orange pour with a white head. Sweet citrus and pineapple hop aromas up front on the nose. A bit sweeter than I’d like with a lot of caramel and bread malt aromas. Slight pine in the background. There’s a rather sharp pine bitterness on the palate. Some sweet citrus and pineapple, caramel, and a bit of bread.

On tap from the source. Honey gold in color, with an average, creamy head. Orange and hops aroma. Orange peel flavor. Hint of licorice. Zeswaft (1785) - Seattle, Washington, USA - FEB 21, 2013
Bottle. Copper color with vanishing head. Aroma of citrus, pine, and hints of alcohol. Flavor is quite impressive. Hop forward but a perect amount of sweetness to balance it out. Citrus, pine, mango. Very good IIPA. BlackEyePA (574) - USA - FEB 15, 2013
Aroma us a melange of sweet caramel malt and floral hops, a soft blush wine odor is there. Appearance is amber-gold with thin legs and soft puffy head. Taste is doughy, bready, hints of toasted toffee/caramel with floral and earthy hop resin/spice. There is alot going on. The palate keeps a bit of lupulin and spice on the middle of the tongue after the sip. Overall its really a nice complex beer with great aroma and big rich drinking brew but balanced Alexmestas (44) - - FEB 9, 2013
Über west coast IPA. Aroma is intense pure hop and solvent alcohol. Carmel taste with pronounced hop taste. Solvent after taste with some strong hints of citrus and fruit

Complex, comprehensive hop aroma from this hazy amber-orange ale - citrus, melon, floral - along with a sweet malty aroma. Balanced, satisfying, heavier mouthfeel - hop-malt synchrony - reminds me of DFH90, Widmer Nelson IIPA, Lenny's RIPA... dreadnord (1012) - San Diego, California, USA - FEB 4, 2013
Pours clear pale yellow with a big white head. Nose is grapefruit, pine and skunky resin. Taste is bittersweet which later succumbs to ultra bitter. Mouthfeel is sticky, yet crisp. Body is heavy and the finish is long. aplus01 (74) - North Carolina, USA - JAN 27, 2013
Pours crystal clear copper color, minimal head. Aroma is dominated by hops with the malt making a minor appearance. Lots of citrus, floral, and piney/resiny notes. Taste is dominated by hop flavor and bitterness with minimal malt character. Medium bodied beer with average carbonation finishes very bitter. As it warms the malt character is becoming more pronounced. Great IPA. Recommended. Kroney (256) - San Diego, California, USA - JAN 25, 2013
Pours an amber/orange with with a dense smallish off-white head. Huge hops(like all of them) coming through at first, but it has a malty/yeasty aroma that doesn’t quite fit, and that carries through in the flavor and it doesn’t quite work for my palate. Still a very good beer, just not my favorite. Maybe I got a bad batch cuz I’ve had "Idiot" before and thought it was outstanding. smaynard6000 (1267) - Apopka, Florida, USA - JAN 23, 2013
12oz bottle. Pours hazy yellow with small white head. Citrus and pine aroma. Nice bitter flavor profile with hoppy notes throughout. Strong bitter finish. Solid and good.
