Light copper. Medium head and low carbonation..Zesty citrus aromas. Fruity, citrus and strongly hoppy flavours. Bitter aftertaste. BeerLimey (2154) - California, USA - AUG 8, 2011
[Bottle] Clear copper appearance, good head formation. Fruity hop aroma, grapefruit and apricot, piney and mildly spicy, caramel malts somewhat hidden but present. Creamy caramel malts appear right away on the palate but grapefruit bitterness and spice jumps in fast. There’s some tropical fruit towards the end but grapefruit dominates the aftertaste. Readlly good DIPA. GreatLibations (1854) - Last Supper, Arizona, USA - JUL 26, 2011
Pale golden with a tall lasting head that reduces slowly leaving behind a spattered sheet of pancake batter. Aromas of dusty hop spears and sweet candy malt. Medium full nectar with excellent carbonation, gives it somewhat of a creamy texture. This is my kind of IPA, fresh squeezed from the vines and trees. Candy coated malt blubber yet not sweet, some dusty hay bales. Good acid balances this beast. Oh so fresh like driving 5hrs to the beach in the hot summer wind and finally jumping into the ocean all cool like a brisk breeze in the desert. Freakin’ bravo grande on this one. Golden pour with nice off white head. Aroma is lots of grapefruit and floral. Taste is piney and resinous with some citrus bitterness. Nice tasty finish. Good IPA. zizzybalubba (1879) - Raleigh, North Carolina, USA - JUL 4, 2011
22 oz. bottle from Wine 101 in Wake Forest, NC. Hazy, dark orange pour with a creamy off-white head. Incredible aroma of grapefruit rind, pine needles, and sweet caramel. Super hoppy bitter pine flavor with a generous amount of malt sweetness. Some moderate alcohol warming and a lasting pine and grassy aftertaste. Really great stuff.

Mild citrus aroma, not much to talk off here. Nice looking beer golden orange colour with lots of white lacing. Sweet malty at first with a hop citrus kick at the end. Not a bad beer. drseusszb200 (687) - Florida, USA - JUN 27, 2011

On tap at SAVOR 2011. Served in a SAVOR goblet.
Pours a clear peach color with an average white head and some spotty lacing on the way down. The nose carries a bit of grain along with a fairly-pronounced citrus character. There’s also a bit of booze in the background. The flavor has too much grain, but does bring a decent amount of citrus. The body is medium with a bitter, dry finish. Still, too much booze. Okay, but needs to mellow it on the alcohol factor.

Copper color with minimal head. Sharp hop aroma of resin and citrus. Caramel malt on the palate with pleasantly balanced hoppiness.
