COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Named after Coronado Island, our original India Pale Ale is a liquid expression of hometown pride. Centennial, Chinook and Columbus hops combine to provide an explosive burst of piney bitterness and luscious notes of apricot, grapefruit and mango that are sure to evoke imagery of swaying palms and sun-kissed shores.

PapaVillum (943) - Valby, DENMARK - AUG 20, 2013
355 ml, flaske, 7,0 %, købt i Fakta, 20. august 2013.

Sampled at the Brew’s Best Beer Fest on my trip to Vegas, back in 2011. Just wrote Coronado IPA, so hope this is the one I did. A nice blend between a hoppy IPA and some maltiness. Hoppy cascade hop scent. Has a perfume finish. Not too bitter, but the hop dryness lingers. The malt starts to disappear near the end of the tasting.

Bottle, 7.0%. Caramelly, teaish hop aroma, bites the nose a bit. The flavour is quite bitter, clean bitterness. Good caramelly note as well. A little sweet, but does not quite balance off the bitterness. Teaish hop finish. Good mouthfeel.

Bottle. Pours clear golden with airy off-white head. Intense hoppy flavour with pronounced fruity and citric notes. Bitter, hoppy flavour with notes of grass and citrus. Coarse and bitter aftertaste. A nice thingy.

Det här var en fin IPA. Kraftig söt humlig aroma. Smaken likaså och är av kraftig beska. Låååångt efterhäng.

Bottle. Pours clear light golden with small white creamy head. Aroma is oranges, mandarin, lemon, lime, milk and yoghurt. Taste is light sweet, medium bitter and light acidic. Body is milky with soft carbonation. Finish is long and light bitter with notes of oranges and citrus fruit, spices and milk. Not very complex but excellent balance!

355mL thanks to Dedicatedtofun. Cloudy orange weak foam. Vegetal, sticky nose. Taste is sugar with parsnip. Not fresh, sticky, cheesecloth and dusty finish. At least it’s not astringent and tea tannic.

355 ml. bottle poured in to a tulip. Clear, deep golden colour with amber hues. Small, bubbly white head. Fruity aroma with pines, grapefruit, chocolate and caramel malts, sweet exotic fruits and resin. Hints of oranges. Taste is bitter. Medium body, creamy texture and a soft carbonation. Finishes bitter and dry with sweet, exotic fruits and citrus. A good amount of malts as well. A classic example of an American IPA.

Bottle from mane liquor. Pours a nice golden with a small white head. Lovely looking ale! Nose very pine and citrus dominant. Bit of grassy hops in there too. Taste is much more pine and floral grassy hops. Touch of biscuit malt. Easy to slam down. Nothing different just a good solid fruit driven ipa. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
