COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Named after Coronado Island, our original India Pale Ale is a liquid expression of hometown pride. Centennial, Chinook and Columbus hops combine to provide an explosive burst of piney bitterness and luscious notes of apricot, grapefruit and mango that are sure to evoke imagery of swaying palms and sun-kissed shores.

Bottle @ home shared with Dutchdrebus. Clear medium orange to slightly golden color, full sized, fair to good lacing, slightly creamy, pretty long lasting off-white head. Aroma has malts, hops, fruityness and lightly pine and resin. Taste malts, sticky hoppyness, lightly pine and resin, very nicely bitter, grapefruit, mango. Medium to full body, medium carbonation. Very nice!

Tap at Padres game. Pours a murky, deep orange colour with an off white head. Aroma of grapefruit, oranges, and grassy hops; slight caramel as well. Taste is mildly sweet with a consistent bitterness through the sip. Light-medium body, average carbonation, and smooth on the palate. Overall a fairly standard IPA, nice.

Amber colored, moderate head, decent lace/retention. Aroma is very resiny, also grapefruit, citrus, pine, caramel. Medium bodied, moderate to high bitterness, well made but not my style.

bmerz (741) - Brooklyn, New York, USA - SEP 1, 2013
Bottle. Fresh. Yellow light haze and some lace. Aroma is tropical and dank hops, fairly sweet. Flavor is sweet not very bitter though quite tropical choppy. Feel is thick and alive. Good but one dimensional and not distinct.

Experiment_Ale (1098) - Dallas, Texas, USA - AUG 31, 2013
Draft at Rockhouse with Charles Doug and Barclay. Pours murky orange, medium thick head that stays. Aroma is piney resin hop meh. Taste is piney resin hops, too much, not good. Finish is quicker for a resiny ipa. Not too good.

AVLarsen (203) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - AUG 30, 2013
Dejligt bitter og rund. Flot skum. Farven er fin men ret så grumset. Lang eftersmag. En øl der skal nydes i ro og mag da den er på 7%

3.5
RasmusOtt (2874) - Aarhus, DENMARK - AUG 30, 2013
Pours hazy golden amber with an off-white head. Aroma of citrusy hops, slight tropical fruits, a bit earthy and just hop-forward aroma. Taste of tropical fruits, sweeter citrus fruits, fresh hops, earthy, pine and a bit of grapefruit.

3.6
Vestergaard (2091) - Aarhus C, DENMARK - AUG 30, 2013
Pours light, cloudy honey with a pretty heavy white head. Strong hops and pine. Slightly fruity, but also a pretty earthy. The taste on the other hand is more fruity, and with barely no earth. Bitter, but still quite full bodied.
