Named after Coronado Island, our original India Pale Ale is a liquid expression of hometown pride. Centennial, Chinook and Columbus hops combine to provide an explosive burst of piney bitterness and luscious notes of apricot, grapefruit and mango that are sure to evoke imagery of swaying palms and sun-kissed shores.

Light golden pour from tap with a lingering head. Beautiful aroma, flowery, dry, fruity, very enjoyable. Citrusy, hoppy, pleasantly bitter with an excellent balance of soft sweetness. A lot going on and a very worthy beer. Would I drink again? yes. Would I order again? yes.

Bottle at home. Bit unclear golden with white head. Big sweet malts, resin, caramel, biscuits, butter, pineapple. Big sweet and light bitterness. Medium body, buttery malty feel, soft carbonation. After closer inspection I think I’ve found what is the bottling date in tiny black letters on the brown glass: 06/04/15. Very sad, I bought this today. Wouldn’t have if I’d seen that.

Yep, this is a West Coast style IPA. No question. Orange color, aggressive American hop cones, imperceptible alcohol - you get the picture. Juicy grapefruit and pineapple flavors. Bitter piney resin that slowly fades on the palate. The SD area has countless examples of these beers, but this one is among the best.

Very decent IPA. Good taste. Well done. Very refreshing. Coronado has never done wrong by me.

Pours light orange with medium head. Aroma: very dry aroma of pine, green pepper and nice mango and peach. Taste: enven dryer than aroma, with pine clearly dominating, low body and a massive hop palate with no malty sweetness to counterbalance it. Great stuff for lovers of classic super dry west coast ipas.

Can. Hazy orange color with white head. Aroma is piney, toffee, oranges, forest floor. Flavour is the same, quite sticky. Medium carbonation, bitter finish. Well done!

On tap at St Augustine’s in Vancouver. A medium amber beer with a moderate white head and a faint fruity nose. Moderate hop bitterness with big fruit notes and a bit of malt in the background. Wow! 4

From the tap at FOB, Rimini, Italy. Pours crisp gold with fluffy white foam, fine. Aroma is citrus, apricot and piney. Body is average, low carbonation. Taste is bitter, but delicate, and with some malt body. Finish is long and pleasant.

Pours a hazy orange yellow color with no head and a white soapy rim. Aroma of grapefruit and mango. Fruity flavor with some mango and grapefruit with a lingering pine aftertaste. Quite nice.

Nice hoppy aroma that lingers on the tongue. I was able to enjoy multiple servings

ttoadee (1491) - Austin, Texas, USA - APR 11, 2017
Medium gold pour, decent white head. Nose is grapefruit, little pine. Bitter. Middle is a solid medium roasted malt backbone with some tropical fruit, and simmering ABV. Finish is balanced bitterness. Pretty good.
