COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Southern California and Southern Michigan are far removed--10 degrees latitude to be exact. This Northern English style brown ale is our combined handiwork with Michigan’s Latitude 42 Brewing Company. Bridging distance over this silken, reddish-amber brew proved a successful endeavor. Rich malt aromas with toffee highlights give way to round, complex flavors while the addition of molasses provides a touch of sweetness in the finish. No matter where it’s enjoyed, this cooperativr craft offering is sure to adjust your latitude.

Bottle. Bolime tasting. Quite pale, golden, a bit brown colour, almost no head. Aroma nuts, nougat, caramel, a bit roasted. Brown malt. Taste is nougat again, nuts, a bit toasted, caramel, for me a bit sweet. Some hops in background. A bit overcarbonated. Good one.

Bottle at Bolime tasting 3/2016. Aroma nutty, chocolate, toffeeish caramel. Clear copper colour, small short lasting head. Taste is surprisingly rich for a 5% ABV beer. Fully malty, nuts, chocolate, caramel. Rather thin, easy drinking.

Meh. No real aroma detected. Mild malty, toffee and molasses sweetness. Reddish-brown color with a thin head. Very light and watery.

Sharing. Pours clear brown with a minimal head. I’m not normally a brown drinker because they don’t have enough flavor, but this one delivers with strong malts f

Hazy dark amber color. Classic lame Amber Ale, focus on the color and not the flavor, with light coffee touch; light residual sweetness, a bit of caramel. Not bad, but very boring.

22 oz bottle. Thanks to Timo A! Clear amber color with a small off-white head. Sweetness, nuts, chocolate, nougat and mild dryness in the aroma. The flavor is roasted chestnut, nuts, nougat, dryness and sweet malt. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

65 cl bottle @ Timo A.
Pours clear mahogany color with a small head. Nutty and bready aroma, some fruity notes, mild hops, some more nuts and chocolate. Flavor has coffee, mild chestnut, bread, molasses and cocoa. Moderately bitter palate. Very nice and refined hoppy Brown Ale.

On tap at St. Augustine’s, pours a hazy dark amber brown with a small beige head. Aroma is fruity and syrupy, with caramel, red fruits, and some cough syrup. Flavour is similar, with bready malts and caramel. Not very certain what they were going for here. Not good.
