Deep red color and clear. Decent head and lacing. Aroma is very hard to detect but is slightly malty. Flavor is sweet and almost benign. Strange aftertaste. Not too fond of this beer but still better than many out there. 21iceman40 (1735) - Grafton, Wisconsin, USA - MAY 9, 2003
A deep sea ruby red glow with a nice white wash soapy head. To be honest this has no aroma. A weak, almost broken malt feel to it washed with water. My first from coronado, not bad, but not great, but shit, its still in the game so that counts for something. jstu9 (403) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 14, 2003
(tap) This is a red ale... and it tasted like one. It had a distinct carmely aftertaste. A fine beer but not distinctive. DaSilky1 (2608) - San Diego, California, USA - JUL 21, 2002
UPDATED: FEB 22, 2003 More amber brown than red, malty and hoppy but void of flavor, like hollowed out hops and malt...reminded me a tad bit of sam adams..However, as i drank this at the stadium watching the padres and the diamondbacks, the padres scored 5 runs off of Randy Johnson in the same inning as I drank this...good luck beer i guess BeerLimey (2155) - California, USA - MAR 5, 2002
Reddish brown hue, faintly herbed malt aroma. Smooth palate, medium to full bodied. Clean fruity sweet candy like flavors turn mildly bitter in the finish and slightly sour. Decent session beer and good for novices.
