On tap at the Brew pub. Pours a mostly clear deep brown, off white head with some lacing. Nose was faint but very nice, good toasted malt aromas. Finish was very smooth.

Light brown in color, clear with a thin head. Nice brown ale easy drinking. Missing some of the nutty flavors i was hoping for. Dry easy flavors this was an average ale.

JorisPPattyn (10061) - BELGIUM - MAY 9, 2012
Draught Uniform black beer with almost no head. Coffee, cigarette ash, dark malts. Bitter with chocolate, ashes, mocha, dry finish if some restsugars present. Hint at hops. Light, gristslickness, medium carbonation. Very passable brown ale, easy drinking.

2.8
HonusWagner (2209) - Florida, USA - APR 14, 2011
Roasted nutty malts but a weird aftertaste that leaves a bitterness in the mouth. A bit heavy on the carbonation for my liking. Just about average, overall.

Ungstrup (38154) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - NOV 15, 2010
Draft. An unclear brown beer with a red shine under a lazing orangey head. The aroma has notes of sweet and roasted malt combined with nuts and hints of chocolate. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, nuts, and caramel.
