Bomber. Rich roasted malt aroma with notes of dark chocolate, coffee and some nutty. Pours dark brown with a thin mocha brown head that has poor retention and lacing. Starts with rich roasted malt and some bitter dark chocolate flavors as well as a rich, full body. Finishes smooth and a bit dry with good coffee and nutty flavors that joins well with the roast. Quite nice.

22oz bottle, reasonably priced at $7. Pours dark brown with a beige head. Aroma is dark bread, molasses. Flavor is dark chocolate, a hint of molasses. A touch thin for an impy stout, and theres a bit of over-extracted coffee astringency in the finish. Im surprised that this is so highly rated.

Maybe it was just my taste that day but this tasted like wet tobacco. I somehow think I missed something because the other ratings are favorable. I will say it is a nice dark pour.
