Jet black, huge stout coffee, some thick carmelization. Noble hop aroma. Big mouthfeel. Nice lacing could float bottle cap n head. The roast and coffee dominates. Awesome stout.

On tap at Hot Rods. Very tasty with coffee, chocolate and a nice note from the hops. High alc. Not noticeable ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

DocJitsu (1996) - Pensacola, Florida, USA - MAR 30, 2013
Pours a nearly black and opaque with a mocha head that disappears a little too quickly. Otherwise, a gorgeous brew. Very rich, dark roast coffee aromas. Creamy milk chocolate and coffee flavors dominate, with some cherry emerging. Finishes with coffee acidity. Mouthfeel is extraordinarily creamy, but not viscous. Wonderful stout. Although, the ABV that it is listed here on BA as having is not accurate. According to the chalkboard at Coronado, this beer is 10% ABV.

Tasted at Willow Park Beer Bash 2014. Unfortunately, there was no time for detailed notes - and I only made it through half my list even so!

This killer stout from Coronado does the Imperial thing right. It’s 9% is well hidden beneath layers of chocolaty goodness. Lots of girth. A very interesting anisette note is a persistent component in the flavor. Nice light creamed coffee, mocha and minty hop nose. Pours deep dark brown with a big creamy tan head that leaves plenty of foamy lace.

22oz bomber pours with an inky black void like body that supports a nice looking mocha colored head. The aroma offers up thin dark roasted malts, thick chocolate malts and then some chocolate brownie notes. Yummers. The taste is smooth and velvety with a Mel Tormé sort of silkiness. I get velvety fog like smooth melted chocolate bar mixing with rich oily dark roasted coffee, dark roasted malts and then sweet chocolate brownie. This is hitting the spot right now. Rich, roasty and chocolate? I say yes.
