COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
It has a very big head indeed - pour it gently - and a very clean palate, beginning with a dry, lightly citric fruitiness, and finishing with a distinctive and delicate, perfumy, hop character. Very light and fluffy in texture, giving little hint of its strength.

Bottle. The pour was a light golden amber with an average sized (1-2 finger) white creamy head that lasted throughout and produced excellent sheeting of lace which totally engulfed the whole glass. The aroma was of a grain malt, perfume hops and a soapy yeast with notes of citrus (lemon), honey and coriander. The taste was lightly sweet with a malty wheat feel and a hint of honey from the beginning with the finish being a little bitter and a tad sour with a strong yeast presence and a light spicy hop ending. The flavor lasted only a short while with the mild hoppy spice taste and a slight alcohol warming sensation left behind. Mouthfeel was between light and medium in body with a dry creamy texture and a very lively carbonation. Overall a Tripel that is not overpowered by any one flavor, on the contrary the blending of flavors in this brew is exquisitely done...

Tight white bubbly head stayed impeccably on whirling straw coloured body - looks tremendous! Aroma of yeast, straw, citrus & spices. Full bodied, highly carbonated, prickly on the palate & a bit thin on the back. Dry on the aft. Tripel style tastes of coriander, lemon, bitter/sweet citrus & a strong Belgian yeasty finish. So distinctly Belgian

From elcervecero. In La Trappe chalice. Watching House of Cards 1x03. Bb Nov 17. Usual pear/apple notes but less body and carbonation than usual, smoother and less dry, more sweet

330ml bottle. Pours a hazy orange-gold with a large, frothy, long lasting, white head that leaves curtains of lace. Sweet aroma of caramel malt, yeast, orange, lemon and coriander. Sweet fruity flavour of orange, lemon, yeast, coriander and caramel malt in the background with a dry, tangy, mildly bitter finish. Medium body with an oily texture and average carbonation. Very nice. The ABV is well hidden which makes for easy drinking.

Aromas of yeast and sour grass. Pours cloudy gold with a tight white head and tons of lacing. Round balanced in unexpectedly subtle tastes of lemon and belgian yeasts but very drinkable.

Pours unclear golden/orange with a lasting, frothy, white head. The aroma contains orange, citrus, hops, malt, herbs, yeast - some iron too. It tastes medium fruity, orange-like sweet and light spicy, yeasty bitter. Creamy texture, fizzy carbonation. Tasty and complex enough. I’m surprised though that not a lot of users here mention the noticeable metallic touch, which is my only problem with this beer.

Floral aroma in a golden pour. Tasty body with hints of candy, bubblegum, banana, and bread. An excellent example of the style - and a tribute to its brewer.
