Tatoverede Enke, Copenhagen - Pours a orange/golden hue, with a persistent creamy white head. Initial light fruits and sweet yeasty/grainy malt, some floral and herby nuances, slight acidity, medium bitter and dry finish.
Tap at Busters on 28th. Light golden pour with a smaller white head. Mild yeast and herbal qualities. Easy drinking. Somewhat sweet. JorisPPattyn (10006) - Ursel, BELGIUM - SEP 12, 2010
Draught Darker clear-gold under a dense yellow head. Toasted, spiced, greenery, "unripe" esters. Sweet, with again a pale malts/greenery flavour. Some spice (coriander?) retronasal, but restrained. Light to medium bodied, aggressively carbonated. Inoffensive, bread&butter beer. It’s nowhere bad, but I couldn’t even get excited over the glass... 77ships (9834) - Antwerpen, BELGIUM - JUL 28, 2013
25 cl. draft @ bar next to Kalmthoutse Heide. Clear lighter golden with a creamy white head. Aroma is mellow esters, slightly sweet with yeast, light hay and spices. Taste is esters, spicy yeast, somewhat sweet, touch sugar and banana, candy sugar and slightly malty. Light body, touch too light, slightly metallic. Quite enjoyable as an alternative to a pale lager which is what this aims for I suppose. Far better than the brown one which oddly has the same score on RB. kraddel (8173) - Antwerp, BELGIUM - SEP 8, 2012
says ’ belgian ale’ but it doesnt live up to that i guess. its more of a good lager to me :) wouldnt bother drinking one, wouldt feel the urge to GO and drink one either , though...
