Launched 1982 by Jef Keersmaekers as Pater Noster. Brewed by Brasserie Du Bocq since launch.
Ingredients: Caramel, Pilsen and Munich barley malts, and Saaz, Kent and Hallertau hops

Got this served straight from the draft. Dark brown beer, hints of red fruit and caramel. Sweet taste, but not too sweet like some of other dark beers. Pretty good beer, though id rather drink this in winter than summer.

Look: dark brown, hazy, beige head with average retention. Aroma: roasted, dark berries, light spicy notes. Taste: moderate caramel sweetness with prominent berry sourness. Light body with moderate to strong carbonation. Flavour: roasted, chocolate desert with berries. Not bad.

Mine is 6.5 ABV and has Pater Dubbel Ale on bottle. Its a decent Belgian ale. Not sure I would purchase again...there nothing that really makes it stand out.

Maakun (4224) - The Hague, NETHERLANDS - APR 23, 2016
Bottle at home 6.5%. Very dark brown with light bitten head and lots of lacing. Raisins, figs, some milk chocolate, old fruit skins, dried out red wine, a bit dusty, old coffee dregs. Quite a lot of old notes mixed with dried fruits and sugary aromas. Under medium sweet and light bitter. Medium bodied with a bit slick feel and soft carbonation.

Ingogringo (10) - SWEDEN - APR 23, 2016
Mörkbrun ale med stabilt gräddigt vitt skum. Lätt arom av malt och torkad frukt. Lätt sötma och toner av dadel, fikon i smak. God, lite starkare belgisk brown ale men lite tunn smak.
