Ingredients: Caramel, Pilsen and Munich barley malts, and Saaz, Kent and Hallertau hops

Sampled at Ginger Man in NYC about a month back and didn’t take proper notes, but just a really well balanced, delicious beer.

Ok øl men mangler noget bund ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

750 ml bottle poured a clear reddish brown with a small lingering tan head. Aromas of caramel, brown sugar, spice and yeast. Palate was light bodied and smooth with a dry finish. Flavors of caramel, spice and light yeast with a smooth dry lingering spiced finish.

Bottle. Poured very dark brown with a long lasting beige head. Aroma of sweet malt, yeast, dark and dried fruits, and light spice. Medium plus sweetness, light bitterness. Medium to full bodied, slight oily texture, average carbonation.

1,5l bottle. Cloudy deep ruby colour with ever lasting creamy off-white head. Aroma: Caramel, candy sugar with leather notes. Taste: Has a sweet malty start with a light sourish tone that joins to a light bitter mouthfeel. The alcohol is noticable with a significant cognac caracter and has an oily texture. Medium/full body with medium carbonation. Long lasting gently bitter and a little bit dry finish.

Fantastisches Bier. Brotig malzig warme Aromen.

Dark nut brown ale purchased in the large bottle size. Pours with good head and sweet, malty taste. Quite smooth and not so yeasty as some Belgian beers. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
