DraftDodger (1454) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - JUN 17, 2017
Copenhagen 17/6 2017. 75 cl bottle in big metal container. A cross a coin and obscure writing to give the impression that the Crusaders was drinking this Ale as they conquered heathen nations with a vengeance. Pours clear orangeish amber with big white head. Settles as 1 cm thick layer of foam. No lacing. Aroma is intense. Caramel, moldy basement, spicy Belgian yeast with hints of Banana. Medium carbonation and medium thick palate. Flavor is surprisingly thin. Medium sweet on the verge of being sugary. Very light on the bitterness. I wonder how the crusaders could keep up the bloodshed drinking this rather thin sweet ale. Then again the sweetness is probably good for the Blood Sugar.

Средний бельгий& эль, неплохо& ровный, но ничем не выдающи& вкус. Довольн& питкий.

Syfher (413) - Brussels, BELGIUM - MAY 22, 2017
Bottle of 33cl, in a Tulip glass; from the fridge. We are in front of a beautiful copper-colour beer, with a fuzzy white head. The aroma is kinda subtle, with notes of yeast and malt. The taste is smooth, not to sweet or bitter, with malt and yeast notes as well.

beer-yum (1654) - Wellington, NEW ZEALAND - MAY 5, 2017
Interesting aroma in an amber copper pour. Laid back hop malt balance is a little fruity and a little dry while the finish is easily missed. Definitely different - in an interestingly Belgian way.

Iznogud (3710) - CROATIA - APR 20, 2017
Bottle, 330 ml, courtesy of and shared with JFK10000. Pours dark orange, white head. Perfumy, caramel, malty, yeasty, dried fruit, sweet. Medium bodied.

schavuitje (249) - APELDOORN, NETHERLANDS - MAR 25, 2017
corsendonk komt vaak met degelijke belgische ales zo ook deze ; het vleugje bitterzoet wordt vergezeld door een forse slok zuur die na galmt in de mond niet mijn eerste keus wel eens lekker voor de afwisseling

midovark (885) - Balassagyarmat, HUNGARY - MAR 14, 2017
Bottled. Deep, hazy golden with long lasting, white head. No prominent notes, just some slight, fruity sweetness that also appear in taste, but stronger, and combined with hay and malty notes. Short, sweet finish with soft carbonation and light body. Not bad, but rather mediocre.

TrefwoordPunk (1172) - Leiden, NETHERLANDS - MAR 9, 2017
Bottle 33 cl. Pours a darkish amber with a medium white head and an artoma of sugar syrup, toffee, sweet malts, candy sugar, banana and yeast. The taste is is least medium sweet with some malty complexities.

2.7
GemmeDeReve (89) - FRANCE - MAR 1, 2017
Rousse, un peu de mousse, un arôme un peu épicé, odeur floral mais d’automne. Pétillante sans plus, un goût de bière passée et mélangée à de l’eau qui ne reste pas en bouche, rien d’exceptionnel
