Quite strong despite its reasonable level of alcohol. I do like the intense flavors that even include a sensation of slight spicyness. On the downside, the taste of alcohol is surprising and does not improve the drinking experience.

Bottle - clear darkish amber with thick off white head. High carbonation, strong alcoholic fruity aroma. Slight ting on tongue, strong tasting but not overally lasting.

From Optimus Beer. After dinner, in Roquetas de Mar. In shaker glass. Overcarbonated. Very smooth in the palate, velvety. Very drinkable but flat. Some caramel with a neutral ending bitterness that keep some interest in it

Copenhagen 17/6 2017. 75 cl bottle in big metal container. A cross a coin and obscure writing to give the impression that the Crusaders was drinking this Ale as they conquered heathen nations with a vengeance. Pours clear orangeish amber with big white head. Settles as 1 cm thick layer of foam. No lacing. Aroma is intense. Caramel, moldy basement, spicy Belgian yeast with hints of Banana. Medium carbonation and medium thick palate. Flavor is surprisingly thin. Medium sweet on the verge of being sugary. Very light on the bitterness. I wonder how the crusaders could keep up the bloodshed drinking this rather thin sweet ale. Then again the sweetness is probably good for the Blood Sugar.

Bottle of 33cl, in a Tulip glass; from the fridge. We are in front of a beautiful copper-colour beer, with a fuzzy white head. The aroma is kinda subtle, with notes of yeast and malt. The taste is smooth, not to sweet or bitter, with malt and yeast notes as well.
