Poured into a pint glass from a 16oz tallboy can.
3.0 A: Partly cloudy deep orange amber color. Two fingers of frothy beige head. Retention is below average and no lacing is left.
3.0 S: Nose is quite muted. Toatiness is the strongest component with yeasty breadiness and caramel malts underneath. Not bad, but bland.
3.0 T: Taste offers more than the nose, but it’s still pretty tame. Caramel malts and toastiness on the forefront. Bready yeast to follow.
3.5 M: Medium body. A tad chewy. Good moderate carbonation and easy to drink.
2.75 D: Not poorly made, but lacking strength of flavor and complexity.

Can from Bob - very much malt forward, played out like an amber. Reddish but flat looking. I liked it. Ron (4110) - Rochester, New York, USA - SEP 23, 2015
A can at Bob’s house just before he left for Myrtle. Poured a clear reddish amber with a small off-white head. Aromas of carmel, fruit, yeast and light earthiness. Palate was medium bodied and smooth. Flavors of carmel, earthiness and fruittiness with a smooth lingering fruity finish The alcohol was hidden well Beerathon (1683) - Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 6, 2015
Murky reddish orange pour with khaki colored head. Strange stuff going on here. I get flavors of grape, dark cherry, and apple. Very malty, somewhat sweet. I’m wondering if my bottle was infected. I bought it "fresh" from the tasting room. Just weird, but I don’t hate it. kramer (6682) - Sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 11, 2014
Bottle. Pours a dark ruby amber body under a small fizzy beige head that faded to a thin film. The nose is toasty and sweet with a bit of a crystal malt iced tea like note. Minimal to no hops, just a malt bomb here. The flavor is pretty sweet with lots of crystal malt. Toasty and a bit husky as well. Long lingering sweet finish. Medium bodied with minimal carbonation and heavy on the tongue. This is pretty basic stuff, rather nondescript other than lots of sweetness.

Draft at tap room. Red and malty. Looks beautiful. Taste was a little lacking. Kind of disappointed. mtdewa1 (441) - rome, New York, USA - SEP 21, 2013
Reddish pour. Aromas of malts and caramel. Starts of mild hoppy and finishes malty. Decent overall. Nice mouthful. mcclainc50 (217) - New York, USA - SEP 21, 2013
UPDATED: JUN 21, 2014 Pours a nice amber color with an off white head leaving a bit of lacing. Aromas of citrus and malt. Nice balanced flavor across the whole beer woth notes of hops in the front and the malt in the back. tgncc (3140) - Bellmore, New York, USA - MAR 26, 2013
The aroma is nutty, toasted malt, strong caramel. The appearance is red/amber, off-white head. The flavor is just like the aroma. The finish is sweet, nuts, pine hops. Medium in body. Not bad, not remarkable. mwmanvt (13) - Hoboken, New Jersey, USA - OCT 14, 2012
The nose is fairly sweet, with some toffe notes.
The color is nice, would call this a "red ale"
This beer certainly sweet, and a slight
Overall not bad, but forgettable.
