Cask at Wellington Arms, Bedford. Amber with a small white head. Odd musty, barnlike aroma, at first suggestive of dried peas, resolves itself into a sort of chocolate malt. the above also evident in the taste which is more interesting than particularly palatable. Some bitterness.

Bottle. Orange and very hoppy leaving no lacing. Strong full flavour very much like an IPA. An excellent beer only spoilt by the amateur label. Presentation is important.

Sour fruit aroma. Golden amber coloured and hazy in appearance with some bitterness in a fruity and earthy finish.
