Overall not to bad. Pours a dark brown color and has decent aroma. Taste is light but pretty smooth. Has notes mild notes of chocolate and nuts and a little bitterness.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a clear cola brown with a thin white head. Roast, cocoa, chocolate, a touch of dusty sweetness. Medium bodied, thins a bit. Cocoa, chocolate, roast. Soft cocoa. Slow roast into the finish, cocoa, chocolate. A soft bitterness with cocoa.

Dark brown with a tan head. Chocolate and nuttiness on the nose. The flavor is similar to the aroma, nice balance. Not bad

Brown and opaquely cloudy. Not yeasts chunks which would be real bad but cloudy. Yeasty aroma with some brown sugar. Sweet malts and some brown sugar. Kinda bitter in a way. Eh?

Dark brown color; Medium slightly creamy body; Aroma of toasted malt, cocoa/chocolate, & some coffee; Flavor of roasted malt, caramel, chocolate, hops, & some nuts; Finish is slightly bitter; Decent.

Served from a 750ml bottle. Cola appearance with a tan head. Roasted malt and a faint of coffee aroma with more of the same on the palate. A standard brown ale.

Bomber. Pours, well, brown. Dark brown actually, nice tan head with good retention and lacing. Nose is pretty average: lotta cocoa, malt, coffee notes, pretty much smells like a brown ale. Mouth is kinda watery, mildly sweet, cocoa, roasty character, wheat puffs. Nothing remarkable, but drinkable aIl the same. First brew I’ve had from these guys. Anyway, I’d like to think that if Glenn Danzig drank, he’d call this his brown ale of choice. Now how bout a Death Comes Ripping DIPA?

Had this while in Cali the other night at The Other Room. Another fine beer by Cosmic Ales. Excellent head on it. This is by far the best brown Ale I have ever had and I truly mean this. I wish I lived closer cause I would be drinking it every weekend.

At first pour, it looked dark but the aroma drew me in. I started to drink this cold and the taste was good but as it got warmer I definitely was able to appreciate all the flavors. Definitely the top brown ale for me.

Decent brown ale, bomber, love the design on the bottle, but the taste was standard brown ale

BOLTZ7555 (3027) - Phoenix, Arizona, USA - NOV 24, 2013
Pretty damn good for a style that seldom is. Dark mahogany pour with garnet and scarlet edges. Minuscule khaki head. Rich cocoa, caramel, and brown sugar essence. Touch of vanilla as well. Aggressive flavor despite the minimal ABV. Enjoyed it.
