We use pure honey from David Pearce honey farm situated a mile from the Brewery in Wiveliscombe. The honey is infused with the brew during fermentation to give a smooth creamy and chocolate palate offering a subtle bitter sweet finish. Brewed using Crystal and Chocolate malt with Goldings, Fuggles and Northdown hops.

Cask at The Roebuck, Leek (Titanic) A clear brown colour with a medium off white head. Aroma of bready malts, dried fruits, some red berries, subtle honey and slight spicy hops.
Taste of bready malts, dried fruits, some red berries, slight honey, a hint of tea and subtle spicy hops. Light bodied and soft carbonation. A dry, subtle black tea bitterness in the finish. A malty bitter with honey sweetness and fruit. Astringent finish and overage average.

avantbland (15) - Greater London, ENGLAND - MAR 17, 2017
(Leeds Beer Festival, 17.03.17) Average, without the depth of flavour you sense was being aimed for. You get honey on the nose but this tastes like a fairly weak standard bitter with little finish. Perhaps also a bit flat.

Stuu666 (15034) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - JUL 19, 2016
Cask at the Guildford arms. Pours deep amber, nose is honey, floral, toffee, taste is similar, little varnish.

Hippoman (646) - Durham, ENGLAND - SEP 18, 2015
Cask at The Market Tavern, Durham, £3.65/pint.

Golden amber beer with a decent, white head. Touch of citrus and honeyed sweetness in the nose but the taste is bitterer than expected with the honey not really registering. Nothing to write home about.

ManVsBeer (10967) - Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire, ENGLAND - JUN 14, 2015
Cask @Healey Hotel, Rochdale. Glowing copper bronze with a creamy head. The honey is light but gives it a lovely smoothness with pale malts complementing this.
