Bottle from Cooperative Supermarket, Minehead. Golden with next to no head. Steady golden ale with a seemingly unaffected fruitiness for a clear bottle ale (although I pulled it out from the back of the shelf where the least amount of daylight reached). Session texture with a hint of activity in the palate. Rasmus40 (22686) - Beder, Aarhus, DENMARK - AUG 13, 2016

50cl bottle of Cotleigh Old Steamer from Westholme Stores, Goring. An amber pour with a ring of white head and fine carbonation; the aroma is rather watery with some grassy malts; the taste is thin as well, with some honeyed sweetness and some weak caramel hops; and then a sweet biscuity finish with hardly a trace of hops. Refreshing yes, but then so’s a pint of cold water.
