500ml bottle from local farm shop. Pours bright yellow gold, very fizzy with watery head. Aroma fresh with some light tropical fruit and a little treacle. Also somewhat floral.

500ml Bottle and Cask via The Harte and Magpie in Amersham. This quite simply my favourite lager and my favourite session beer. It is exquisite. Like its sister the Cotsworld Premium, this is an unpasterised lager that is so full of flavour. Its very hoppy on the nose and that transfers well to the taste and the palate. It is low in abv but it does not lose any of the taste of its stronger sister. Conversely it isnt over hopped which is a common problem with lower alcohol beers. If it wasn’t for the fact this is almost impossible to get where I live, Id be drinking it just about every session!

Bottled. A golden beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma has notes of butter and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of butter and malt. Thanks yespr for sharing.

Draught at Isis Farmhouse, Oxford, England.

Very pale golden colour with small white head.
Weak, almost no aroma.
Flavour is grain and mild grassy hops.
This is somewhat watered down. 5% version is much tastier.
