Very hoppy for a mild which isn't to my taste. Very tangy and bitter taste.

Taste of dark malts, light roast, touch of dark chocolate, soft dark fruits
Palate - Thin body, soft sweet. Finish has a touch of mocha mild.
Overall - Though this was quite decent - would be better a bit stronger

Cask at JDW WIQ, London. It pours a clean ruby mahogany color with a small beige head. Aroma is tangy nutty malty with light sweet raisins, brazilian nuts, red berries. Taste is also tangy sweet with more red berries, raisins, mixed nuts and bread. Light to medium bodied with soft carbonation. Overall, nice one

Cask. Aroma caramel and roasted malts. Pours dark chestnut with tan froth, broken lacing. Tastes bready, with a hint if cough syrup. Medium bodied and soft oily finish. I suspect this is a good example of why youngsters eschew Mild and old farts cherish it. Could do with some more dark fruit but fine enough
