Cask at the Case is Altered, Warwick. Poured a clear medium amber with a frothy white head. The aroma is fresh malt, light citrus, light hop. The flavour is moderate to light bitter with a refreshing chewy malt citrus palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. Very well kept and a superb ale. One of the best English bitters I ever had. Cask at peterborough beer fest. Alround rating: Chcolate malts, roasty, yet quite thin and the grassy hop takes any sweetness away.
