Cask at The Stafford Arms, Bagnall. Deep ruby brown colour with a thin off white head. Aroma of roasted malt, burnt caramel, spice and dark fruits. Taste of roasted malt, nuts, sweet dark fruits like plum and raisin plus a little bitterness. Medium bodied and soft carbonation. A roasted, fruity finish.
