COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This Tart Saison is brewed in the Belgian tradition of tart farmhouse ales. The magic happens when our house blend of Brettanomyces, Lactobacillus and Saison yeast throw an out-of-this-world party in our fermenters. Aged on raspberries, blackberries, and blueberries, this yields a beer with a lacto forward nose, an intensely tart fruit flavor, a doughy complexity, and takes the word "refreshing" to a whole new level.

Pours a hazy golden yellow on tap with bubbly white head that dissipates to leave light lace. Aroma of big funky guava notes over lactic acidity and a touch of pepper. Taste is even bigger on the guava funk, nice lactic acidity throughout with a puckering finish. This is my favorite of the three they had on tap the night I went.

UPDATED: OCT 23, 2017 Bottle at Mette & Theis thanks to Stefan. Hazy yellow with a small white head. Hay, dry grass, dough, light guava and bile. Light body, low sweetness, medium sour. Crisp finish with lactic bile. Ok balance, I don’t like that stomach acid taste.

An interesting saison. A hint of the saison pepper but largely overwhelmed by tart fruit. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle @Xmas Tasting 30.07.2017. Pours yellow, thin white head. Nose is tart fruit, kind of slutty but in a good way, zesty and sherbet. Taste is sharp, tart, it tastes fresh, lime and raspberries. Lemon and lime huge aftertaste its a bit like an alcoholic version of Rubicon.
