draft kicking of lcbw. poured yellow with large frothy white head. nice nice aroma of bourbon, rye and hops. the flavor changes immensely once it warms up. you get the spiciness from the rye and the hops and the soothing warmness from the bourbon. job well done. thorongil2 (3424) - , Ontario, CANADA - AUG 9, 2013
(tap at tasting at Party Town, Florence, KY) clear orange colour with a small white head; aromas of mint (!), stewed fruit; rich flavour with a long medium bitter finish; somewhat creamy palate; like a bit diluted barley wine - very nice DanielCoor (65) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - JUL 29, 2013
Taster at brewery followed by a full pint. This has a deep bourbon aroma with some hints of a piney hops and spicy rye sneaking through. The taste is overwhelmingly bourbon centric on first taste with the rye and hop spice melding well with the sweet vanilla bourbon flavor. The mouth feel is smooth and silky with a crisp dry finish. This is a tasty beer and at 10.5% is easy to drink and very dangerous.
