Aroma: Nutmeg up front with the pumpkin; some clove in the background. Not overpowering in the spice department. Appearance: Slightly hazy copper with a creamy white head. Flavor: Matches the nose. Palate: Full body, thick texture, soft carbonation, abrupt finish. Overall: Solid pumpkin ale.

Pumpkin ale on draught at brewery. Amber and butter nut squash as well. Light and spicy. Big pumpkin taste with a bit of the IPA in there. Very nice.

Kentucky Fried Charleston Trip Beer #35. Draft at the brewery. Pours a slightly hazy copper color with a thin creamy off-white head. Decent head retention. Aroma of earthy notes, sweet pumpkin, mild spice. The taste is earth, tart pumpkin, mild spice, pale malt. Medium bodied, decent balance.

Tap. Not a good example of a pumpkin ale. Like the IPA, there are so many to choose from. Avoid this one.
