Well it sure doesn’t look like much, in the plastic bottle and all. Tons and tons of bubbly noisy head. A ridiculous amount of carbonation. It’s like the Cider version of Rice Crispys. I’ don’t think I’ve ever poured a noisier drink. Very weak scent, I expected a ton of apple and it just wasn’t there. Not really anything there. The taste is definitely apple, but not sweet apple like I expected. More of a just barely ripe green apple taste. A lot of tartness. That extreme carbonation is there all the way through. It’s actually fizzy in the mouth. Not enjoying this much but I wasn’t expecting much, so really this meets expectations. HogTownHarry (7086) - Toronto (Harbourfront), CANADA - JUL 20, 2011
Cask - Volo Cask Days 2010, Day 1. Light, somewhat still-looking yellow pour, small to no head. Dry apple aroma, some alcohol, ripe, not overly sweet or reminiscent of a cheap white wine. Taste - same, a tiny bit "mulled" with some spice and sweetness creeping in, but still crisp and refreshing. Light-bodied, a touch acidic, with a dry aftertaste - a welcome break from all the beers. blankboy (7881) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 23, 2010
Cask at ’Volo Cask Days 2010’. Pours a clear, very pale gold with no head. Nice aroma, dry with apples and light spices. Slightly watery flavour follows the aroma, dry with tart apples and light spices. Average bodied. Pretty good. mabel (10004) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - NOV 26, 2010
[3456-20101030] Cask. Slightly soured apple parts aroma. Clear, pale yellow body with no head. Sweet apple juice flavour is sweet up front and a little sour and bitter later. Medium body. Interesting enough.

2010-10-30. Crisp pale yellow, small white film. 2+ Flavour of tart apples with a fruity apple core. 6+ Aroma of fruity apples has more musty overtones than I recall their regular ciders having. 6+ Average palate. Okay. Cask at Volo, Toronto
