Decent enough for the price (on offer from the local supermarket) but if you rate quality over price I would definitely choose another.
Bottle. Amber/Golden in colour. Malty; sweet malts, buttery caramel. Hoppy; light grassy slightly spicy hops. Slightly fruity. Sweet malts leading to a mildly bitter hoppy finish. Better than I expected. Easy drinking but bland. (2009-12)

Good appearance and head. Sweaty hoppiness and slightly oily texture are the remnants of the old draught Courage whcih was sometimes splendid, more often wasnít. Not as bland as modern-day bottled Bass, though. If you can get it for £1 a bottle, or not much more, then go for it. HonestGriff (64) - Birkenhead, Merseyside, ENGLAND - MAR 26, 2016
Not a good beer smell, very chemically smelling, very metallic taste, sort of got better as I got down the glass, but will give it a miss next time. BaroneBirra (461) - Gorizia, ITALY - FEB 4, 2016

Appearance - golden amber with a decent head. The head disappears quickly.
Nose - toffee mostly.
Taste - toffee, light biscuit.
Palate - light to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a finish that could be fresher.
Overall - not worth a revisit. dchad56 (462) - - FEB 17, 2015
Light sweet fruity aroma. Clear amber with very thin white head quickly receding. Fizzy on tongue - no real lasting taste - fairly weak Mr_Pink_152 (4884) - Lincoln, Lincolnshire, ENGLAND - AUG 23, 2014
