Decent enough for the price (on offer from the local supermarket) but if you rate quality over price I would definitely choose another.

Keg at a social club outside Farnham. 06/10/17. Basically the worst bitter I've ever had. Almost a soda stream version of bitter - ie watery and fizzy with some maltiness. Crap.

Bottle. Amber/Golden in colour. Malty; sweet malts, buttery caramel. Hoppy; light grassy slightly spicy hops. Slightly fruity. Sweet malts leading to a mildly bitter hoppy finish. Better than I expected. Easy drinking but bland. (2009-12)

Tradpint (13) - Amersham, Buckinghamshire, ENGLAND - APR 7, 2016
Good appearance and head. Sweaty hoppiness and slightly oily texture are the remnants of the old draught Courage whcih was sometimes splendid, more often wasn’t. Not as bland as modern-day bottled Bass, though. If you can get it for £1 a bottle, or not much more, then go for it.

Not a good beer smell, very chemically smelling, very metallic taste, sort of got better as I got down the glass, but will give it a miss next time.

50cl bottle. Appearance - golden amber with a decent head. The head disappears quickly. Nose - toffee mostly. Taste - toffee, light biscuit. Palate - light to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a finish that could be fresher. Overall - not worth a revisit.

Light sweet fruity aroma. Clear amber with very thin white head quickly receding. Fizzy on tongue - no real lasting taste - fairly weak

500ml bottle from Sainsburys. The colour is amber with an off-white, thin foaming head. Very light aroma, with some slight hops. Taste is typical of an English bitter. OK.
