Our lightest ale is brewed with a special blend of domestic two-row malt, soft white summer wheat malt and flaked Canadian rye. Our brewer uses Cluster, Tettnanger and 3.2% Northern Brewer hops from the Pacific Northwest to give this beer balance and smooth flavor. Two Rivers Light is a flavorful alternative to mass-produced domestic light lagers.

Keg at the brewery. Slightly hazy yellow, thin fizzy tan head, poor retention. Aroma of pale doughy malt and a bit of caramel. Taste is sweet caramel. Sickly sweet. Gross.

cubs (10740) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - MAR 26, 2011
On tap @ Court Avenue. Pretty hazy, yellow-orange appearance that’s a little strange. Quite grainy pale lager, slight fruity nose. Grainy, light wheat, pale lager that’s unfiltered.

ajnepple (7344) - Lakewood, Colorado, USA - MAR 29, 2014
On tap at the brewery. Pale golden and pretty clear appearance with a white head and light lacing. Mild aroma of rice, pale malts, bread, light hops and a touch of spice. Similar flavor, light bitterness, pretty bland but easy to drink. Light body with average carbonation and a crisp, refreshing finish.

RobertDale (6983) - Lansing, Kansas, USA - JUN 9, 2013
On tap at the brewpub. Comes a cloudy pale gold with an average white head. Aroma of malt, grain, and citrus. Taste is malt, grain, florals, and citrus. Decent.

Braudog (6900) - Yorktown, Virginia, USA - FEB 27, 2005
Golden yellow with a sticky white film. Light citric aroma. Sour-mashy with a sweet bready malt. Good for a "light".

heemer77 (5361) - Urbandale, Iowa, USA - DEC 27, 2006
On tap at the brewpub. The body was pale yellow with a white head. The aroma was white bread and grass. The taste was fresh potatoes with some bell peppers. This left some decent lacing in the glass. A nice light lager.

CanIHave4Beers (4241) - Pouring Bus, Iowa, USA - JUN 16, 2010
Pours a hazy golden with a small head. The aroma is malty and lightly corny, which is weird because I doubt very much that a bit of corn even exists in this brewery. There is a mild whiff of the hops in the aroma as well but it’s fleeting at best. The flavor is crisp with a light sweet cereal notes and some nice light citrus rind. Perfectly clean and enjoyable.
