Draft at the source, courtesy of staff, thank you. Hazy amber color, fluffy white head. Aroma of fresh berry, light citrus. taste is fruity and not overly sweet. Not bad.. ClassyBeagle (376) - New Jersey, USA - OCT 20, 2013
FROM NOTES: June 27, ’12
Poured from a 12 ounce bottle into a pint glass.
Aroma: Strong over-powering strawberry nose with little else. Appearance: Pours a cloudy, very pale yellow with a medium-sized, quickly dissipating white head.
Taste: As advertised, strawberry dominated, but lacking depth.
Palate: Light bodied with a soft, almost creamy texture to it and soft fizzy carbonation.
Overall: Fruit beers are not my thing, so a little difficult to rate overall, but I would say that it’s not exceptional in any area. LiMuBai (222) - - OCT 3, 2013
Very light, non-existent head. The aroma is one that is more sour than the fruit smell of strawberry. The tastes follows suit with a sour taste, more so than strawberry. Is there such thing as a strawberry Budweiser? rosenbergh (11532) - Tampere, FINLAND - SEP 17, 2013
12 oz bottle. (Marcello’s Wine Market) Lafayette, LA.Mora2000 (6158) - McKinney, Texas, USA - AUG 14, 2013
Cloudy yellow golden colour with a tiny white head.
Strawberry pie in the aroma. Nothing else really. The flavour sweet caramel and maybe a hint of strawberry. The aroma changes a bit with the sediment added... it’s a bit more tart. Quite bad brew. Watery.
The cap easily came off, almost like it wasn’t sealed. Light yellow pour with a white head. The aroma has some strawberry and grain notes. The flavor is pretty bad with some rotten strawberry notes as well as some grain. Medium mouthfeel and no carbonation - the beer was completely flat.

Covington Brewhouse Strawberry Ale has a thin, fizzy white head and a hazy, yellow-golden appearance, with juice pulp present throughout. Lacing is thin. There are lots of little, tight bubble streams with this one. Aroma is of bready, strawberry juice, and the flavor is the same, with a sugar background and a citrus acidity. No bitterness is detected. The mouthfeel is medium to heavy, and Covington Brewhouse Strawberry Ale finishes mostly dry, somewhat crisp, sweet, and fairly refreshing. Overall, for a fruit beer, it’s very good. RJT airrick2003 (872) - Louisiana, USA - FEB 25, 2013
Appearance: lots of strawberry purée suspended in the liquid, medium size white head that fades quickly, beer is light gold and very cloudy
Aroma: strawberry, cool, refreshing, a bit faint
Taste: strawberry, tart, some sourness,
Palate: highly carbonated, dry, not much strawberry
Overall: good fruit beer, pretty strong tart flavor, some sourness

Pours a clear yellow from the bottle with pillowy white head and light lacing. Aroma is barley and strawberry cough drops, taste follows, medicinal but easy to drink. What is the abv, anyone? ads135 (4607) - Omaha, Nebraska, USA - FEB 9, 2013
This isn’t too bad for a light fruit beer. The strawberry is the dominant flavor. Its a little medicinal and candy-like, but at least its not too powerful. If it were even more subtle, I would even consider this a session beer. As it is, its flavor is a bit too off-putting for more than one in a row. Itzjerm (2869) - Taft, Tennessee, USA - DEC 8, 2012
Oh wow this is tart badness. Just tart strawberry? No. Tart strawberry leaves. Smell and all. Nasty.
