COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brewed in the industrial business district in Greeley, Colorado. Just like our unique building the brewery calls home, this unique brown ale uses quality malted barley, imported hops, and pure yeast to make a subtle nutty taste to our traditional brown ale.

Doesn’t even resemble a brown ale. So oxidized it’s not even funny. Hit me up with a freshie, and I’ll rerate.

Bottle @ Timbers, Denver. Pours dark reddish brown with a creamy offwhite head. Aroma of malt, nuts, chocolate. Taste is sweet malty, caramel, nuts, chocolate. Thin to medium body, soft carbonation. Light easy drinking brown ale, not bad at all. 050312

Dark ruby - frothy lace - nose is leafy tobacco, roasted nuts, toffee, earthy hops - soft carbonation, smooth texture - flavor is medium dry, with strong hazelnut - a bit of tobacco - light caramel sweetness and subtle hops on the tail end, along with a mild acidity - nothing stand out, but perfectly drinkable and enjoyable for what it is - nothing I would buy again, but decent - this brewery gets no love.

A little hazy, milk chocolate brown, with a lasting off-white head. Aroma of belgian yeast (banana), soap, pale malt, caramel, old milk and dark fruit. The taste is a touch of soap and chocolate with somewhat fruitiness and pale malts. Medium body with heavy carbonation. A little cheap in the mouthfeel and taste.

Bottle from the brewpub. Pours dark amber/brown with a 3 finger foamy beige head. Aroma is sort of nutty chocolate. Med body/frothy carb. Flavor is nutty/malty, and I can imagine a hint of chocolate. It goes a bit thin, but it’s very smooth, and the finish is delightful.

Overall this beer had an offensive carbonation that reminded me of an overly-carbonated soda or Bud Light. The flavors were fine but very homebrewy kind of flavor.

12oz bottle from Lukas Liquors. Pours clear brown with light tan head. Aromas of toasted and caramel malts with some nuts. Flavor of caramel, nuts, and some toasted malts. Mouthfeel is a bit thin and there is a metallic note. Pretty average brown ale.

Deep reddish brown colored body with a hint of light tan head on the edges of the glass. The nose is largely ashtray with hints of rotting apples. The taste is sweet and smoky with tons of ashtray. There is also some old burnt plastic and rotten apple core. This is horrid.
