Pours a clear golden brown with a minimal white head. Sweet aroma with hints of pumpkin and spice. Good pumpkin pie spice flavor, but a bit sweet and syrupy and not as crisp in the mouth as some pumpkin ales. For those who like their pumpkin ales a bit on the sweeter side this might be a good one to try.
Bottle. Light brown color with a film for a head. Very spicy nose. Allspice, cinnamon, nutmeg. Everything you’d expect. A little thin-bodied, a bit undercarbed, but very pleasant. ajtrupp (340) - Broomfield, Colorado, USA - OCT 18, 2014
I normally only rate beers that are distributed (nothing against non-, just to save time), but I'm excited to get two pumpkin beers in a row that didn't let me down (Schlafly's being the first) and say how awesome the tasting room is. Had a great afternoon flight today with a super nice bartender.

Bottle. A red tinted copper body with a thin off white head. Ginger and soured pumpkin dominate the nose. There is also some insulation. The taste is like gingered up pumpkin and some raw dough. There is also raw potato thrown in to balance out the dough. After a few drinks, I started to get hints of sour. Hmmm, an infection like I have gotten in a couple of other Crabtree beers? Pour is a murky brown with a small white head. Aroma is plenty of spice with some lingering pumpkin. Flavor is again more spice than pumpkin. Finish is a little watery but you can also say this is not as heavy as most pumpkin beers. This was a nice beer.

The aroma is pumpkin and a great blend of spice. It dissipates a lot as it sits.
The flavor is rather subdued compared to the draft version. Sweet malts with some pumpkin and lots of pumpkin spices. The mouthfeel is pretty full bodied with low carbonation.
Overall, this is one of my favorite pumpkin beers. On draft, I liked this better than DFH Punkin in a side by side comparison. This bottle is a bit more subdued than remembered though.
Pours a hazy dark copper with a half finger of diminishing head. Smells sweet with spices, nutmeg and/or all-spice? Hints of pumpkin aroma. Flavor is pumpkin with nutty tones, with a minimally bitter finish. Moderate carbonation and medium body, and a smooth mouthfeel. Goes down easy. Head is initially small, frothy, off-white, mostly diminishing.
Body is dark amber.
Aroma is lightly malty (toasted grain, caramel), with a strong note of nutmeg/allspice, other notes of sour apple, detergent, lemon juice, unripe peach, and dirty sweatsocks.
Flavor is lightly to moderately sweet, moderately acidic, lightly bitter.
Finish is lightly sweet, moderately acidic, lightly to moderately bitter, unclean.
Light to medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation.
Pretty much everything coming out of this brewery is infected these days. The spices attempt to cover it up, but in the mouth it’s sour and dirty tasting with very little sugars left. Sad.
